What Is the Foxfire School?

As a therapist, I’ve come up against the edges of individual responsibility again and again. People are trying so hard to feel better, do better, be better—and still finding themselves exhausted, disconnected, or quietly lost.

Foxfire School was created from that recognition. It’s a space that shifts the focus from fixing the individual to exploring how we live, relate, and make meaning together.

At its core is a simple understanding: that our wellbeing is shaped through connection—connection to self, to others, to body, to land, to season—and that many of us are carrying a kind of spiritual hunger that isn’t met by the frameworks we’ve inherited.

The programs here draw from depth psychology, eco-spirituality, and philosophy, and are grounded in lived experience, reflection, and shared exploration.

Current Programs

A Year of Rhythm

A 12-month journey in seasonal living, embodied self-connection, and reclaiming your relationship with time

A Year of Rhythm is a slow, year-long group experience for people who feel disconnected from themselves, from nature, or from the pace of their own lives.

Through seasonal practice, lunar awareness, creative reflection, and monthly gatherings, this program invites you into a different relationship with time—one that is cyclical, embodied, and deeply human.

This is not about fixing yourself or optimizing your life.

It is about learning how to live with yourself again.

The Ground We Stand On

Foxfire is shaped by three core pillars that guide how we gather, explore, and grow together.

Collective Healing & Resistance

This work does not happen in isolation. We are shaped by systems, stories, and inherited patterns—and healing, too, is collective. Together, we name what has been normalized, question what we’ve been taught to accept, and gently (or sometimes fiercely) imagine new ways of being.

Eco-Spirituality

We remember that we are not separate from the living world. The land is not just metaphor—it is teacher, mirror, and kin. This includes our relationship with our own bodies as part of nature—rhythmic, responsive, and wise in ways that often get overridden. Our work is rooted in cycles, seasons, and the quiet intelligence of both earth and body.

Embodied Individuation

This is the process of becoming more fully yourself—not as an idea, but as a lived experience. Drawing from depth psychology, individuation is not about fixing or perfecting, but about integrating the many parts of who you are. Embodied individuation brings this out of the mind and into the body, where patterns are felt, expressed, and transformed over time.

What This Work Moves Toward

At the heart of every Foxfire offering are two shared intentions:

Self-Crafting

The ongoing, creative process of becoming—shaping a life that feels more honest, more aligned, more your own.

Soul Remembering

A gentle return to what has always been within you, beneath conditioning, roles, and survival strategies.
