Therapy • Self-Exploration • Group Programs

What began as a private psychotherapy practice has grown into something wider —
a weaving of individual therapy, free self-led exploration, and small-group programs designed to support deeper connection.
Here you’ll find spaces to heal, to question, to imagine, and to return to rhythm —
in ways that honour both personal responsibility and the cultural conditions we live within.

Choose Your Path
There are many entry points into this work.

Relational, trauma-informed psychotherapy for those seeking depth, integration, and meaningful change.

Free mythic, creative, and experiential resources for self-led exploration.

Small-group online programs rooted in seasonal rhythm, burnout prevention, and collective process.
I don’t organize this work around diagnoses. I orient around relationship and process.
At its core, my approach balances the existential and the experiential —
asking both What does this mean? and What is happening in your body right now?
It is holistic.
Mind, body, emotions, relationships, and spirit are not separate domains here — they are threads of the same weave.
Creative process is welcome.
Myth, symbolism, imagination, and metaphor are not distractions from healing — they are often the language of it.
But above all, this work is relational.
It is about strengthening your relationship to: your body and nervous system, your patterns and protective strategies, your environment and rhythms, your community and attachments, your own inner life
Whether in therapy, group space, or self-led exploration, the aim is integration — not optimization.
Not becoming “better.”
Becoming more whole.
People arrive here for many reasons — burnout, grief, identity shifts, trauma, longing, spiritual questioning, creative stuckness.
If you’re drawn to existential, experiential, and relational healing, you are welcome here.
No gatekeeping. No “sick enough” threshold.
Just an invitation to begin where you are.

I live and work on unceded Anishinabek territory in the Madawaska Valley, Ontario. Rising Rooted began as a psychotherapy practice and has grown in response to the limits of individual healing in a disconnected culture.
This work is my way of applying my training, curiosity, and lived experience toward building spaces where people can reconnect — with themselves, with each other, and with the living world.

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice–
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
‘Mend my life!’
each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognised as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do–
determined to save
the only life you could save.
